Abstract

Desa Gisik Cemandi di Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, terletak di kawasan pesisir yang berbatasan dengan laut dan tambak, serta dikelilingi oleh Desa Banjar Kemuning di utara, Desa Tambak Cemandi di selatan, Lanudal Juanda di barat, dan Selat Madura di timur. Sebagian besar penduduknya berprofesi sebagai nelayan (sekitar 60%), termasuk buruh harian yang bekerja dalam pengolahan hasil laut, seperti pengupasan kerang. Selain itu, sekitar 10% penduduk berprofesi sebagai petani, buruh tani, dan peternak, sementara sisanya bekerja sebagai pegawai swasta, wiraswasta, ASN, TNI/Polri, tukang, dan pensiunan. Desa ini memiliki berbagai potensi produk olahan laut, seperti ikan asap, ikan asin, kerupuk ikan, dan kerupuk kerang. Di desa ini juga terdapat beberapa kelompok nelayan, seperti Mutiara Laut, Laskar Laut, Mitra Bahari, Riski Bahari, dan Dewi Reni. Namun, limbah kulit kerang yang dihasilkan belum diolah secara optimal, karena selama ini hanya diambil oleh pengepul tanpa pengolahan lebih lanjut. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Desa Gisik Cemandi bertujuan untuk mendampingi warga dalam mengolah limbah kulit kerang menjadi produk bernilai tambah, seperti pakan ternak, yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk peternakan ayam dan bebek warga atau dijual sebagai produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan limbah yang lebih produktif.

  1. Co-Authorship

This agreement can be terminated by the author or JKAM upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of JKAM. 

  1. Royalties

This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JKAM or its sublicensee.

  1. Miscellaneous

JKAM will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and JKAM or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. JKAM may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
