Adolescence is the process of transition of children to adulthood. At this time, teenagers have an unstable mentality so they do not care that learning is very important for the future and cannot choose which associations are positive so as not to get caught up in harmful associations. This is the reason for the implementation of socialization activities regarding Learning Motivation Education and Prevention of Adolescent Delinquency at the State Vocational High School (SMK) 11 Central Maluku. The method of implementing this activity is in the form of counseling. This socialization program is carried out face-to-face by presenting material directly and discussing interactively. As a result of this activity, it is hoped that students can understand the importance of learning and how to have positive associations so that they have a bright future. The results of this service and socialization activity are expected to shape the character of students later in community life.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 BangDimas : Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakathttps://mail.online-journal.unja.ac.id/jppm/article/view/38627OPTIMALISASI INOVASI DAN PACKAGING PRODUK KACANG TANAH SEBAGAI KOMODITAS UNGGULAN LOKAL DI NEGERI TANANAHU KECAMATAN TELUK ELPAPUTIH KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGAH2024-11-24T04:30:11+07:00Liyanty Laihasni Rohmanliyantycantik09@gmail.comDwi Kurniawandwi.kurniawan13@unja.ac.id
Negeri Tananhu, which is located in Teluk Elpaputih District, Central Maluku Regency, is a traditional village with the potential for abundant natural resources, especially in the agricultural and plantation sectors. This community service activity aims to create innovation in noga packaging and branding to make it more attractive to consumers. The methods used include outreach and assistance to local communities in product manufacturing, packaging design and marketing. The results of this activity show that the new packaging and attractive logo succeeded in increasing the selling value of noga from IDR 1,000 to IDR 25,000 per package, as well as encouraging sales of up to 10 packages per day. The village is 15 km from the district government center, which can be reached in about 1 hour by road, while it is approximately 109 km from the regency capital and 35 km from the provincial capital. Negeri Morella is known as a tourist village and a center for Malukan souvenirs. Given its potential, it is unfortunate that the souvenir products from Negeri Morella are only available in the Ambon area. In response to this issue, a branding training program has been designed to enhance the product value and increase brand awareness among both local communities and tourists through product design and mockup design. Additionally, another challenge is the difficulty in locating UMKM production houses in Negeri Morella, which results in many tourists not recognizing the village's identity. The outcomes of the design process include product designs, branding training, and the development of social media.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 BangDimas : Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakathttps://mail.online-journal.unja.ac.id/jppm/article/view/38834PEMBERDAYAAN PETANI KAKAO DAN HORTIKULTURA DI NEGERI WOTAY KECAMATAN TEON NILA SERUA KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGAH PROVINSI MALUKU2024-12-01T10:36:05+07:00Nova Cahya Putriputrinova011103@gmail.comAgus Kurniawan Masturaguskurniawan.iwan@gmail.com
Community service activities in Negeri Wotay, Teon Nila Serua District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, aim to address two major issues faced by residents: cocoa pod rot disease (BBK) caused by Phytophthora palmivora and limited access for housewives to vegetables due to the long distance to the market. The activities consist of two main stages: socialization on the production of botanical fungicides made from citronella and clove oil as a solution to control BBK, and the creation of horticultural plots for growing spinach and water spinach. Through this program, farmers and residents gain knowledge about more environmentally friendly and modern agricultural techniques. The results show that botanical fungicides are effective in controlling cocoa diseases. Meanwhile, the creation of horticultural plots near residential areas successfully provides easier access to fresh vegetables. This program also emphasizes the importance of integrated land management, including pruning, weed removal, and garden sanitation, to ensure sustainable agricultural yields.
2024-11-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 BangDimas : Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakathttps://mail.online-journal.unja.ac.id/jppm/article/view/39005INOVASI PENGOLAHAN BUAH TOMAT MENJADI SAOS DI DESA SITUNGKIR KECAMATAN PENGURURAN KABUPATEN SAMOSIR PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA2024-12-04T10:51:12+07:00Chrisdayanti Nainggolanchrisdayantinainggolan264@gmail.comMuhammad Wahyu Nasrullahchrisdayantinainggolan264@gmail.comAkhmad Fikri Rosyadiakhmadfikri.rosyadi@unja.ac.id
Situngkir Village, Pangururan Subdistrict, Samosir Regency, is an area with abundant tomato farming potential. However, farmers face challenges such as low market prices and tomatoes' susceptibility to spoilage due to high water content. To address these issues, an innovation program was initiated to produce Saos Tomat Asli Situngkir (SAS) as a post-harvest processing solution to enhance product value. The program began with surveys and discussions with the community, followed by the tomato sauce production process using locally sourced tomatoes. Replacing lime juice with sodium benzoate as a preservative improved the product's shelf life to 12 days at room temperature. The final product was packaged with appealing labels to attract consumers. The results show that SAS not only extends the shelf life of tomatoes but also provides an economic solution for farmers through product diversification. This initiative encourages community involvement, particularly women’s groups (PKK) and local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in processing and marketing, thereby supporting the sustainability of local farming businesses. This success serves as a model for collaboration between academics, farmers, and communities to create value-added local products. It is hoped that this innovation can be expanded through training and more effective marketing strategies to support the village economy and improve community welfare
2024-11-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 BangDimas : Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakathttps://mail.online-journal.unja.ac.id/jppm/article/view/39006“KERUPUK ANDALIMAN” SEBUAH INOVASI PANGAN MELALUI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT UNTUK MELESTARIKAN KEARIFAN LOKAL DI DESA SITUNGKIR KECAMATAN PENGURURAN KABUPATEN SAMOSIR 2024-12-04T11:00:26+07:00Nurfitriyaninnurfitriani95@gmail.comGilang Aulia Perangin-anginnurfitriyaninur17@gmail.comTri Imam Munandarimamtri@unja.ac.id
Situngkir Village has abundant agricultural potential, particularly in cassava and andaliman, a native spice of North Sumatra known for its antioxidant benefits.
