Penelitian ini tentang bagaimana konsep konstruksi pengetahuan siswa pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan TBLA (Transcript Based Lesson Analysis) sebagai upya untuk peningkastan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 7 Kota Jambi. Model TBLA memberikan analisis untuk masukan pembelajaran melalui transkrip dialog pembelajaran. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: tahap perencanaan (plan), tahap pelaksanaan (do), dan tahap refleksi (see). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 7 Kota Jambi. Adapun konstruksi pengetahuan siswa yang terjadi selama proses pembelajaran adalah interrogative (Q) yaitu menanyakan opini, informasi, saran atau klarifikasi. Pada indikator responsive (A) yaitu menjawab pertanyaan atau memberikan klarifikasi. Pada indikator suggestive (S) yaitu memberikan saran yang berhubungan dengan topik diskusi. Pada indikator informative (I) yaitu memberikan informasi berhubungan dengan topik diskusi. Pada indikator exemplification (EX) yaitu memberikan contoh konkret/nyata. Pada indikator elaborative (EL) yaitu mengembangkan lebih jauh informasi, saran, atau contoh. Pada indikator justificational (JT) yaitu membenarkan informasi, saran atau contoh.
