DIFFERENCES IN FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT RESULTS OF BASIC PHYSICS 2 STUDENTS IN OFFLINE AND ONLINE LECTURES ON SPECIAL RELATIVITY THEORY MATERIAL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bencana Galodo yang terjadi di kabupaten Tanah Datar. Bencana ini berdampak pada pelaksanaan perkuliahan fisika dasar 2 di UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar yang harus dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Penelitian dilakukan di dua kampus yang berbeda, yaitu mahasiswa semester 2 di UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar dan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil asesmen formatif mahasiswa yang melaksanakan perkuliahan daring dan luring yang ditinjau dari chat dosen, metode mengajar, dan media ajar. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan control group posttest only design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal formatif materi relativitas khusus berbentuk uraian. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t sampel independen yang menghasilkan nilai sig 2 tailed (0,269) > 0,05 yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil asesmen formatif fisika dasar mahasiswa antara mahasiswa yang melaksanakan perkuliahan daring dan luring pada materi teori relativitas khusus. Nilai rata-rata formatif mahasiswa juga tidak jauh berbeda pada kedua sampel. Penggunaan metode, strategi, dan media perkuliahan yang tepat perlu ditingkatkan pada perkuliahan fisika dasar 2.
