SCIENTIFIC REASONING ABILITY OF CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 SINDUE TOMBUSABORA ON DYNAMIC FLUID MATTER

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sindue Tombusabora pada materi fluida dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Responden penelitian adalah 15 siswa dari 20 siswa kelas XI MIPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Sindue Tombusabora tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengambilan responden dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling area. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penalaran ilmiah siswa pada materi fluida dinamis masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kategori siswa memperoleh hasil terbanyak pada setiap penalaran ilmiah. Pada pola penalaran korelasi, siswa berada pada kategori Tidak Ada hubungan (NR) dimana sebagian besar siswa berada pada (level 2) maksimal (level 4) yang berarti kemampuan penalaran korelasi siswa untuk menghubungkan dua masalah atau sebab akibat masih rendah. Kemudian pada pola penalaran proporsional, sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori TM (tidak menjawab) dimana siswa tidak menjawab soal yang berarti siswa mengosongkan jawaban (level 0). Artinya, kemampuan siswa dalam memberikan jawaban terhadap soal yang melibatkan perbandingan masih rendah.
