ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITY OF PHYSICS TEXTBOOKS IN THE 2013 CURRICULUM AND THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM

Untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah, Pemerintah Indonesia dalam hal ini Kementerian Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia mengeluarkan buku ajar resmi yang diakui Pemerintah. Hal serupa juga pernah dilakukan untuk mendukung implementasi kurikulum sebelumnya yaitu Kurikulum KTSP dan Kurikulum 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pembandingan kualitas buku ajar fisika yang diakui oleh Pemerintah pada Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Buku ajar yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah buku ajar fisika kelas XI berbasis Kurikulum 2013 yang ditulis oleh Sunardi, Paramitha Retno P., dan Andreas B. Dermawan tahun 2016 penerbit Yrama Widya dan buku ajar fisika berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka yang ditulis oleh Marianna Magdalena Radjawane, Alvius Tinambunan dan, Suntar Jono tahun 2022 penerbit Kementerian Pendidikan kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, melalui studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelusuri berbagai sumber literatur yang terkait dengan bahan ajar fisika kelas XI semester I. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan deskriptif komparatif yang meliputi cara penyajian materi, kedalaman materi, kebaharuan isi dan instrumen evaluasi. Dari analisis didapatkan bahwa buku ajar fisika kelas XI kurikulum 2013 memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik daripada buku ajar fisika kelas XI Kurikulum Merdeka baik pada indikator penyajian materi, kedalaman materi, kebaharuan isi maupun istrumen evaluasi.
