Synergistic Effect of Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) Leaves Extract and Potassium Iodide on Mild Steel in HCl

Penelitian tentang efek sinergis ekstrak daun jambu air dan iodida pada korosi baja ringan dalam larutan asam telah dilakukan menggunakan metode kehilangan berat, pengukuran spektroskopi UV-Vis, dan difraksi sinar-X (XRD). Efisiensi inhibisi meningkat dengan kenaikan konsentrasi iodida dan suhu. Efisiensi inhibisi tertinggi mencapai 97,06% pada konsentrasi inhibitor 10 g/L ekstrak daun kayu manis dengan penambahan 0,04 g/L iodida. Adsorpsi ekstrak daun kayu manis dan iodida mengikuti model isoterm adsorpsi Langmuir. Efek sinergis dari inhibitor ekstrak daun jambu air dan iodida dianalisis menggunakan parameter termodinamika dan kinetika.
