Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

GUIDELINES FOR WRITING THE JURNAL PENGEMBANGAN DAN PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT

I. GENERAL

  1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published in any journal that has an ISSN or ISBN.

  2. The submitted manuscript is a scientific study resulting from a case study or literature study. All cases received must have attention to difficult, unique, and rare cases with unusual problem solving that are important to publish.

  3. The manuscript must be written in the form of an article, not a report and presented following the principles of good Indonesian grammar.

  4. Authors must register as authors at this link before they can enter the Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat to submit and upload manuscripts.

  5. The manuscript will be published in the Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat after being reviewed by peer reviewer.

  6. The editorial staff has the right to edit the manuscript without making any changes to its content.

  7. The author of the manuscript is responsible for the content of the published manuscript.

  8. Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat will notify the author if there is an unpublished manuscript.

  9. The submitted manuscript and illustrations are legally the property of the publisher and may not be published in other media without official permission from the publisher.

  10. Support from journal authors is expected by using references from the Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat that has been published.

  11. All forms of communication must be electronic.

SYSTEMATICS OF MANUSCRIPT WRITING
1. Title
  • title, author's name, institution and appropriate email.

  • The title should not be more than 14 words, describing the entire contents of the article, typed in Arial, 14pt, Bold, Center, Capitalize Each Word (the English abstract title should also be no more than 14 words).

2. Abstract
  • Abstracts must be written in Indonesian and English.

  • The abstract is made in one paragraph without subtitles consisting of background, objectives, methods, results and conclusions and keywords (3-5 phrases). Written in Arial, 10pt, single spacing. The abstract should be between 150–250 words.

3. Contents
  • The subtitle consists of: Introduction (consisting of background, literature review, problem formulation and objectives written in one chapter without subtitles), Methods, Discussion, Conclusions,  Ancknowledgments, and References.

  • The manuscript must be presented in 1-column text format (see writing instructions).

  • The manuscript is typed in Times New Roman 10 font on A4 paper size single-spaced (210 x 297 mm) with a left margin of 25 mm, a right margin of 20 mm, a bottom margin of 20 mm, and a top margin of 25 mm.

  • The manuscript consists of 4000 - 6000 words.

  • Figures must be in JPEG format and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), tables must be included in the text and not as attachments.

  • Figures and tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals, and the table title and brief information about the table written in Arial, 11pt, spasi 1, single spacing.

4. Reference

All references referred to in the article text must be listed in the Bibliography section. The Bibliography must contain reference libraries originating from primary sources (scientific journals and a minimum of 80% of the entire bibliography) published in the last 10 (ten) years. Each article contains at least 20 (ten) reference bibliographies. APA 6th writing format. Writing a reference system in the article text and writing a bibliography should use a reference management application program such as: Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero, or others.

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
