Abstract

Bram Itam Kiri Village is a village supported by the Physics Education Student Association, located in Bram Itam Kiri District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. With a population of 3,500 people in Bram Itam Kiri Subdistrict and there are 236 families who face significant socio-economic challenges, especially related to the low welfare of women due to lack of education, life skills and economic access. To overcome this problem, the Jambi University Ormawa Imapefsi PPK Team launched the Gubuk Karya Program, a women's empowerment initiative aimed at increasing women's capacity in managing local natural resources and building life skills. This program includes technical and managerial training, digital marketing, and strengthening entrepreneurship. The implementation method includes problem identification, interviews, program formulation, coordination, socialization, establishment of learning centers, and monitoring and evaluation. The results show an increase in women's skills and economic independence through product creation activities, workshops, and women's markets. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in encouraging women's economic independence and welfare. For sustainability, stronger support is needed from the government and local partners in terms of funding and facilities.
